Think & Respond Chapters 1-5

 

This term my reading group is doing a book study on the book Refugee. It is about three kids, Josef, Isabel & Mahmaud, who all live in different times but have the same goal.....ESCAPE!

We've been doing some activities around it and the one above is the most recent activity I have done. The activity I had was we were given an example of something that happened so far and we had to respond. Or we had a question relating to the text.

Anzac 2021

For the last couple of weeks we've been learning about Anzac Day. It's been really fun. I have learnt how to use the Maori Battalion Website. And I have learnt the meanings of some tricky words. Anzac Day is really cool to learn about.

Paddle Boarding

This term we have been doing a lot of work around water safety.

For this piece of work we had to choose a water sport to write about and I did it with one of my friends, Lucy.
